WE MOVE
The number of people Trinity Lands has developed and turned into farm owners and community leaders is remarkable.
At Trinity Lands we know our greatest asset is our people. That’s why our internal structure has been designed in a way to support our employees, providing the tools and framework to move through the ranks to leadership positions. With such an integrated network of farms and orchards, we can accomodate movement as employees outgrow different levels.
“The number of people [Trinity Lands] has developed and turned into farm owners and community leaders is remarkable.”
We firmly believe that by putting good infrastructure in place, our employees are able to focus on getting the best out of their cows or canopies. This approach, combined with the satisfaction of knowing their work ultimately benefits their community, has seen our employees remain with us for over 20 years.
AGRICULTURE
EMPLOYMENT
Across our 20 dairy farms, Trinity Lands employs a mix of contract milkers and share-milkers. This model allows our employees to grow their own equity, whilst being supported by the farm advisors and soil management experts on our Board.
While our focus is to support community organisations, we are also committed to supporting our farming staff to grow in agriculture. Our grandparents were skilled farmers who loved to share their knowledge with those new to the industry.
As one of the larger farming groups in the Waikato, we continue that tradition by providing opportunities for enthusiastic, hard-working farmers to work with us as share milkers and contract milkers.
Many of our farming partners stay with us a long time, and then go on to purchase their own farms.
If you’re interested in a career in farming, and appreciate knowing your hard work will be benefitting the community in which you live, we would love to hear from you. Please don’t hesitate to send us an email HERE, and our farm managers will get back to you.

HORTICULTURE
EMPLOYMENT

With fruit harvested from 195 canopy hectares, Trinity Lands are one of Zespri’s biggest providers. Our business success and our employees’ success in Kiwifruit go hand-in-hand. Recently, one of our Assistant Production Managers, Levi Smith, was nominated for BOP Young Grower of the Year. We love seeing our staff get this kind of recognition, and grow in their careers.

RSE
We employ a mixture of permanent orchard managers and local contractors. During the height of the season, we are also enthusiastic employers of staff from the Pacific Islands through the Government’s Recognised Seasonal Employer (RSE) scheme. We have found these employees to be committed, hard-working and great company, and we value the friendships we have made with these staff over consecutive years.
